This is a series of monthly newsletters, started in May 2007 (with a couple of older issues from 2005), intended to provide information on GLORIAD activities, accomplishments, plans - as well as special interest stories.

- This is a longer, 7-page issue which speaks to accomplishments of 2006 and early 2007, technical improvements to GLORIAD-US infrastructure, spends a page on a network topology update, provides a brief program plan overview for 2007 (GLORIAD-US team commitment to its sponsor), describes a State Department Journal which focused on GLORIAD, introduces 8 members of the US team, talks about the upcoming summer undergraduate research program which will place two students to work with GLORIAD staff, devotes 1.5 pages to motivation for the distributed virtual network operations center, and highlights GLORIAD's newest partner NORDUnet.

- This issue highlights our Korean partners at KISTI and their launch of the first 10G circuit of GLORIAD. The issue also describes the first China-Korea Joint Workshop on Advanced Network Engineering, hints at plans of our Chinese partners to upgrade their link from US to Hong Kong (which they accompished in 2006), and talked about our commercial partnerships -- with VSNL, Cisco and Force-10.

- The first issue of the newsletter, this one provides an overview of GLORIAD, including principles of the project, early network topology, early concepts of Open Exchange Points, cooperation with the GLIF, an early hint of the Distributed Network Operation Center (now referred to as the dvNOC), and some technical details about the network.
