Matt DeHart

Matt DeHart is a Wildlife and Fisheries Science undergraduate who began working with GLORIAD during summer 2007, thanks to funding from the National Science Foundation’s Research Experience for Undergraduates program. Matt’s longstanding interest in the international networks fostered by GLORIAD, as well as the earlier efforts of Friends & Partners, provided a strong background for his new position on the GLORIAD-US team.

While choosing Wildlife and Fisheries Science as his major, Matt has long been drawn to computing as well -- his work with GLORIAD through the REU program will help pave the way for a future of cross-cutting research and applications development, and applying international advanced computing concepts to his endeavors in Wildlife and Fisheries Science.

For GLORIAD, Matt's focus is on network engineering and assisting in the technical implementation of GLORIAD's sophisticated network utilization monitoring system.
