Matt DeHart

Matt DeHart is a Wildlife and Fisheries Science undergraduate who began working with GLORIAD during the summer of 2007, thanks to funding from NSF’s Research Experience for Undergraduates Program (REU). Matt’s longstanding interest in international networks and partnerships fostered by GLORIAD, as well as the earlier efforts of Friends & Partners, provided a strong background for his position as Student Research Assistant on the GLORIAD-US team. While choosing Wildlife and Fisheries Science as his major, Matt has long been drawn to computing as well -- his work with GLORIAD leads to a future of cross-cutting research and applications development, by applying international advanced computing concepts to his endeavors in Wildlife and Fisheries Science.
