GLORIAD Community Building Page

From its very roots in a community building project started between the U.S. and Russia in 1994 (see http://www.friends-partners.org/), GLORIAD is, at its core, a community building initiative designed to facilitate and, where possible, encourage productive partnerships in science, education and the broader public sphere of activity. It just so happens that we have to first build networks (electronic and otherwise) to facilitate the cooperation we wish to encourage.

Thus, this community building page is, in a very genuine sense, the "heart and soul" of GLORIAD. While the first two years of GLORIAD (from 2005-2006) were necessarily devoted to building physical infrastructure (and the cooperation and agreement between many international partners to do so together), 2007 and 2008 have been focused on the community building initiatives described below.

As always, we welcome your comments and suggestions (use the Contact link at the bottom of any GLORIAD page).
